Explore Waitsfield Village
Plenty of cute shops and restaurants in this quaint town. There is swimming beneath the covered bridge (built in 1833). Also lots of boutique + chic shops. Great place to spend a sunny day.
Sunset Ledge Hike
Located on the Long Trail, this 2.2-mile round-trip trail is not too steep and brings you to a beautiful lookout ledge over the mountains. For more serious hikers, block off several hours for the Mt. Abraham hike, which starts at the same trailhead.
Grab beers at Lawson's Finest Liquids
Tasting room of Lawson's Brewery, well known for its Sip of Sunshine. A fun place to hang out

Waitsfield Farmer's Market
Saturday from 9am - 1pm. Food, music, crafts. Lots of local produce and snacks!
American Flatbread
A pioneer of farm-to-table dining. Hardcore local sourced pizza, cooked in a giant oven right before your eyes. No reservations, but they have outdoor space and an art gallery where you can sip a drink while you wait for a table.
Shelburne Farms
Absolutely beautiful working farm and historic property. Great walking trails, tours, and photo ops. Great place for the whole family. Definitely buy some cheeses at the farm store (we love their smoked cheddar)
Sugarbush Resort
Beautiful spot in the summer! Definitely hike up the trails or take advantage of the lift-assisted downhill mountain biking trails
Mad River Glen
Hike up the ski trails for gorgeous views of the whole valley! You can park at the ski areas and wander up the ATV trails or forge your own path

So fun! Great place to take the kids (or adults obviously) for tour and a tasting
