2 large buses will arrive at the Best Western Yucca Valley at 1:45 pm for a 2 pm departure time. 1 large bus will pick up guests from The Red Dog in Pioneertown at approximately 2:30 pm. There will be no other pick ups from either location so please plan accordingly so all the transportation goes smoothly. Due to the remote location of the venue and limited space there will be no guest parking at the venue. One bus will be on standby starting at 9 pm to bring guests back to the Best Western if they wish to leave early. At the end of the reception, 10 pm, there will be both a bus and a shuttle available to transport guests to either the after party at the Red Dog Saloon or to the Best Western Yucca Valley. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Our ceremony starts at 3:30 in the afternoon. We will have shuttles bringing guests from Yucca Valley and Pioneertown to the venue due to the lack of guest parking at the venue. The shuttles will start at 1:30 pm from Yucca Valley Best Western. Refreshments will be provided for guests awaiting the ceremony. Be aware that most air bnbs/hotels/etc. have check-in times later than our ceremony time. If staying the night in the area you will likely need to stay two nights (Friday and Saturday) or arrange an early check-in or check your luggage so you do not miss the ceremony.
Our venue has extremely limited parking that can only be utilized by those staying on site and our vendors. We are providing a shuttle bus that will be picking up guests from both the Yucca Valley and Pioneertown areas to bring people to the venue. The shuttle system will begin at 1:30 pm. We will provide further details on exact times and pick up locations as the date gets closer. Also know that the ceremony and reception will both be at the same location.
You can RSVP online using the RSVP tab on this website. Please RSVP by August 15th.
Cocktail attire but with some western flair. Or disco if that's more your vibe. Cowboy boots and hats are encouraged. Had your eye on some sweet cowboy boots? Here's your excuse to get them. We would love to see our guests have fun dressing up for our wedding. Get creative, be colorful, have fun; we wanna see you looking and feeling your best. Some other wardrobe notes: this is a fully outdoor event in the California high desert. The days are sunny and warm and the evenings cool down significantly. Don't forget a layer for the evening. The ground is uneven and dusty, so only wear shoes that don’t mind a little desert dusting (thin heels strongly discouraged). See my pinterest board link below for more inspiration. https://pin.it/4NTD2GL
Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that we are only able to accommodate children from our immediate families. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like some assistance arranging childcare.
We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests that weren't included on your invitation.
Our wedding dinner will be family style and we've worked with our catering company to accommodate common food allergies. The menu will include plenty of gluten free, dairy free, nut free and vegetarian options. If you have other concerns feel free to reach out to us.
The weather in a typical October in Pioneertown sees highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 40s. Hopefully it'll be that perfect! Be prepared for the temperatures to drop significantly after the sun goes down. Bring a jacket or coat (faux fur encouraged) since our venue is fully outdoors. With luck, we will have clear skies for unmatched desert stargazing.
