We're Married!

Our journey began many years ago, when we met at Tatum Elementary School. We became friends through our GT program at Farmersville Intermediate School, and became close in Jr. High when we started sharing classes! Chris is someone I was always able to talk to, since he is such a good listener and was more mature than most people our age (including myself!). We were always in the same circle of people in high school. I even set Chris up a few times with other girls, haha! We had fun hanging out with friends and at school events. We visited the Perot Museum a few times on school field trips, hence the venue! It has some nostalgia for us each. Senior year, we went on a few dates, and made it official after a month or so. We were exceedingly blessed to each be accepted into Texas A&M University, and go off to college together! It has been amazing to grow and experience different stages of life with each other. It is so special to be with someone who has known you and grown with you through almost all periods of life, and I look forward to the chapters we have not yet experienced! - Ellie Ellie and I met when we were 5 years old. As we grew up together, for some reason I was always drawn to her. Throughout school anytime I had a problem I always found myself asking her for advice. Even when we weren't the closest of friends, I always turned to her when I needed someone most. Like Ellie wrote, being able to grow up and experience all of our different stages of life together has been such a blessing. We learned to love each other as people, then as friends, and for the past 4+ years, as partners. This is what sets Ellie and I apart; our bond is much deeper than the past 5 years. It is a connection and a love that is ingrained within our very being. - Chris What does our future hold? Chris and Ellie each graduated in August of 2023 from Texas A&M University, Chris with a Bachelor of Science in University Studies - Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction Concentration, and Ellie with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Minor in Psychology. Chris is working as a Project Engineer for MW builders in Austin, TX. Ellie is pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management at Liberty University and working as an office administrator for an Austin psychology office. We are so excited to be married, to start our lives and careers as a team, and to see where the Lord will take us together.
