How we met in 10 simple steps: 1 - Ellie goes to Michael's class to make up an algebra test 2 - Michael sees Ellie and decides he wants to meet her 3 - Michael does some investigating and finds out she's on the soccer team 4 - Michael goes to Ellie's coach and asks if he can be the "soccer manager" (a completely invented position btw) 5 - Ellie likes this new "soccer manager" with his cheesy jokes and UNWAVERING dedication to the team 6 - She makes a fake trip to the grocery store (where Michael worked) just to chit-chat with him after school 7 - He takes her to eat Mexican food after practice 8 - A few weeks later, Michael asks Ellie if she wants to be his girlfriend 9 - She says yes 10 - Aaannd the rest is history!

After a long 8-hour hike through the High Atlas, Michael proposed to Ellie under the stars in a little mountain village. And of course she said YES!
