We kindly ask that guests dress in formal attire for our wedding. Listed below are some options/suggestions for apparel that may be included in a formal dress code: Suits, a tux if you're feeling fancy (certainly not expected), slacks and a sport coat, a floor length dress, a nice cocktail dress, a dressy jumpsuit, neckties, bowties, (ties not required) etc. Ultimately, we want our guests to be comfortable and have a great time so please dress in a way that you are comfortable! We do, however, ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, sport sneakers, overly revealing clothing, and any outfits that are predominantly white in color.
A list of events is under the schedule tab above, we will also be providing a detailed timeline on programs at the ceremony and tables during cocktail hour and the reception, but a summary of the day is listed below for your convenience! 2:45 PM- Latest Arrival at the Venue (The Franklin of Soulard) 3:00 PM - Ceremony Begins 4:00 PM- Explore the Soulard neighborhood (see "Things to Do" tab for suggestions), run back to your hotel, hang out in your car, etc. We just ask that the event space is cleared so that the Franklin Team can set up for the Cocktail hour and reception! 5:00 PM- Cocktail hour 6:00 PM- Reception begins 10:00 PM- Reception ends/After party at Molly's for anyone 21+
Yes, the event space is entirely indoors! However, between the ceremony and cocktail hour we will have to exit the space for the transition to "reception mode" so we recommend a coat for exploring Soulard while you wait!
Yes! If you can’t make it please still RSVP “no” so that we have the right numbers come wedding day! Or if you originally thought you could make it but your plans change, kindly adjust your RSVP accordingly so that we don’t accidentally save you a spot, thank you!
There is a small gated and guarded parking lot with 43 spots right next to the venue that will be available for guests, when the lot fills up (which we expect it will) there is street parking around the venue as well. The guard on duty will be monitoring both the parking lot and surrounding street parking. If you and anyone you plan to arrive with are planning on taking advantage of the open bar and do not have a designated driver, please take an uber or taxi to and from the venue. Many of the things to do between the ceremony and cocktail hour are within walking distance and there will be space for hanging any coats that guests opt to wear to the venue.
In order to keep our wedding a personal experience for our closest family and friends, we kindly ask that guests adhere to the guest list as specified on the RSVP forms. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support in making this a day we will cherish forever.
An appetizer spread and other passed appetizers will be available at the cocktail hour. The main meal during the reception will be a plated dinner based on the choice each guest made on their RSVP form. Dessert and a late-night snack will also be served later in the evening. There will be a full open bar throughout the night, however the bar will close temporarily during dances, toasts and the beginning of dinner to allow full focus on the bride and grooms first special moments as a married couple and for the waitstaff to have plenty of room to serve all of our guests easily and efficiently.
