We're getting married!

Chris was the teacher's assistant for Ellie's spanish class freshman year. He thought she was an annoying teacher's pet, and she thought he was a lame jock. Several of the girls in the class thought he was sooooo dreamy, Ellie couldn't care less. Fast forward 7 years later when Ellie and Chris were both on Tinder. Ellie sent the first message while working an overnight shift. Chris and Ellie talked the entire night, then spent the next day on the phone for over 3 hours. Chris wanted to take Ellie to a really fancy restaurant for their first date, but Ellie just wanted Sonic. She invited Chris to come up for half priced drinks and asked him if he could "afford to pay for both of them" and he said she was shorter than he remembered. The rest is history....Chris spent a year planning for the proposal and made it official in October 2020. They will be married on November 5th and plan to live a happy, weird life together forever.

Chris originally planned to propose during a Ludo concert. He was going to message the band and ask them about either proposing on-stage during the song Anything For You or chat about other creative ways during the show. The concert ending up getting canceled due to Covid, so Chris had to come up with a backup plan. The band let someone have their actual wedding on stage in 2021, so they probably would have gone along with his original plans!
