When it came to selecting a wedding venue that felt equally personal and special to us, our answer was immediate: The Farm. Secluded behind the Buttonwood Beach Community, Arnold Point Farm, abbreviated to "The Farm", has been in Ellen's family for over three generations. This one-hundred-acre rustic property at the tip of Arnold Point serves as a year-round retreat to unplug and unwind from the tension of daily life. While it hasn't acted as a functioning farm in many decades, the name "The Farm" has endured. Here you won't find crops, but gentle green fields encircled in a curtain of trees. Instead of livestock, five viszlas roam freely. On one side of the property, the Elk River flows into the Chesapeake; on the other side, a large man-made pond provides idyllic tranquility. During their summers apart, The Farm acted as a halfway point between Baltimore and Philadelphia for Sam and Ellen to meet. In the last five years, the location has been the venue for three different weddings (two of which were Ellen's older siblings!). During your visit, we hope you'll experience many of the touchstone charms that will endear you to The Farm as it has to us and so many others. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter together with all of those who are able to attend in person or in spirit. Head over to our Gallery to see more photos of the property.
