Question

DOES IT COST TO STAY ONSITE?

Answer

Yes! $120/per person. You can make a payment from the "Reservations & Registry" tab on this website.

Question

HOW DO I CHECK-IN TO CAMP?

Answer

Check-in for the Wedding Weekend starts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Mendocino Woodlands Camp. Upon arrival, please bypass the administrative building and proceed directly to Camp 1. You should park your car at the first main building to your right, which is the mess hall. After parking, walk around the building to meet our welcoming team, who will provide you with your cabin assignment. Our team will be available until 4:00 pm to assist you in parking your vehicle for the duration of the weekend after you've finished unloading your belongings. If you arrive after this window on Friday evening, seek out a welcoming team member who will help you with parking arrangements following your unloading process.

Question

DO I NEED A TENT?

Answer

No, tents are not necessary. For your stay, we'll be providing screened-in cabins equipped with cots, each accompanied by a comfortable sleeping pad for a restful night amidst nature. We plan to accommodate couples and families in shared cabins. Though not quite traditional camping, these rustic cabins offer their own charm without electricity, complemented by usable fireplaces. We'll have plenty of firewood available on-site for those keen to enjoy a cozy fire.

Question

IS THERE POWER AND WATER?

Answer

The cabins are nestled in a rustic setting without power or running water. They're organized into three clusters, each centered around a facility equipped with hot water showers and bathrooms. Power can be accessed in the bathrooms and the main buildings. Embrace the chance to disconnect, as there is no internet or phone service available. For more details about our camp, visit mendocinowoodlands.org. We will be staying in Camp One. Please note that bringing trailers is strictly prohibited.

Question

WILL WE BE FED?

Answer

Yes! We'll be providing main meals for Friday dinner and throughout Saturday. We will do our best to accommodate all dietary needs. Should you have specific requirements we need to be aware of, please reach out to us directly.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Answer

Question

CAN I STAY IN TOWN?

Answer

Yes! You can choose to stay in the picturesque town of Mendocino. The tone of Mendocino is 30 minutes away and known for its eclectic stays and adorable B&Bs. However, consider that much of the road between Mendocino and the Woodlands Camp is unpaved, potentially extending travel time beyond what you might expect from a map. Given our campsite's hilly terrain and external bathroom access, guests with serious mobility issues are advised to opt for in-town accommodations. Cabin availability at the camp is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so early RSVPs are encouraged.

Question

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our Wedding in the Woods is designed for adults only. However, we understand that finding childcare can be challenging. If you are unable to secure care for your little ones during the event, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS-ONE?

Answer

We cherish the idea that "the more, the merrier," but there is a strict limit on the number of people allowed on site. Please RSVP for named invitees only. We look forward to celebrating with additional loved ones and friends at a separate time.

Question

CAN I BRING MY PET?

Answer

Mendocino Woodlands Camp is a state property that does not allow dogs or pets of any kind. If you have a service animal, please provide the appropriate records for your animal directly to us to pass on to our host two weeks prior to the wedding weekend.
