When is the hotel's room block going to expire and I won't be able to take advantage of this really good rate?

Answer

The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is holding a block of rooms till November 25th (or till the block of rooms fill up).

Question

The hotel's block is from December 27 to December 30th. If I arrive a few days earlier then the 27th or if I stay till New Year's day, will the hotel honor the same wedding block rate?

Yes! Call the hotel directly and if there is availability they will honor the wedding block rate.

Yes! The hotel is also holding a block of suites at a special rate. Call the hotel directly for further information and booking.

How much is it to rent ATV / dirt bike?

Answer

Carolina Adventure World has 2600+ acres of riding trails for all skill levels. They have limited number of ATVs and dirt bikes to rent. Rental include helmet and gas. The park is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Rentals are for the whole day. Rates to rent: ATVs = Suzuki King Quad $255; Dirt bikes = Honda 125cc or 150cc $150/$170 & Yamaha 230cc: $190 (+ tax). (For example - Rich and Ellen reserved an ATV and a dirt bike that Rich, Ellen, Eddie & Ethan will share for the day.) Upon arrival to park each reservation requires a credit card number held for "damage deposit". (The card is NOT charged unless the rental gets damaged; $500 for dirt bike and $1000 for ATV.) IMPORTANT: THERE ARE LIMITED ATVs - MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BY NOVEMBER 1ST TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A RENTAL!!

How do a RESERVE an ATV and/or dirt bike?

CALL Carolina Adventure World at 803-482-3534 Because there are limited # of ATVs/dirt bikes and to ensure you have a vehicle, payment is due when you make your reservation. (When calling, reference the #GoingLong wedding.) Our group has a 48 hour no-charge cancellation period (except a non-refundable 10% administrative fee).

Can you recommend someone for hair and makeup?

Yes! On the day of the wedding we have arranged a private dressing room at The Club for the ladies to have their hair and/or makeup done. All appointments must be pre-arranged by emailing Ellen (Katie/Kristie will contact you to schedule your appointment time). Rates are as follows: HAIR with Katie: $75 for up-dos, $45 for blowouts MAKEUP with Kristie: $65 (includes eyelash extensions) RSVP IS REQUIRED -- EMAIL ELLEN AT savary.ellen@gmail.com.

Sporting Clay Adventure on Friday, December 28th.

Answer

Hunting Creek is a beautiful preserve with over 2000 acres of wooded terrain. If you are not shooting or if you want to take a break, warm up a bit, Hunting Creek Preserve has a big barn with a fireplace and cozy leather lounge chairs to relax in. Our group will meet at Trilogy's Club parking lot at 8:00am & travel together caravan-style to the Preserve. When we arrive we will check in & have a safety/instruction briefing. Our group will divide into smaller groups (about 4 people in each) and head out on the range in golf carts to one of the 13 stations for a fun time of sport clay shooting. Afterwards we will meet at the pistol range for a little more fun. After a great morning of pistol and sport clay shooting, the Preserve is preparing a delicious hot lunch in the barn. The cost to clay shoot depends on how much you shoot. It is about $50 (for 50 shots, box of clay pgeons, shotgun rental and golf cart).

How will I receive a refund on my ATV/dirt bike rental?

Answer

Carolina Outdoor World will mail you a refund check for the total cost of your rental(s) minus 10% administrative fee. The check will be mailed out next week.
