From friends in high school who drifted apart to rekindling our friendship over spring break when we were in San Francisco at the same time. We met for dinner to catch up with eachother and ended up extending our time together. What was meant to be two friends catching up turned into our everlasting love story.

Every year Nick surprises me with a unknown location vacation. This year we went to Northern California. A beautiful secluded cabin surrounded with trees and mountains. Early the next morning we arrived at a lake with the back drop of MT. SHASTA still covered in snow, the water still like glass with ducks and ducklings passing along. We paddled our way across the lake and interrupted a photographer! She then asked to take pictures of our kayaks and us. Then all of a sudden Nick was on one knee holding out a ring!! I instantly started crying and said yes!!! 🤍💍🤍
