Question

Please Note

Answer

The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori is a beautiful Catholic church dating back to the 1800s. However, it is not located in the best area of Baltimore, so we recommend exercising caution by storing valuables out of sight in your parked car.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, street parking is available near the church. You can also park in a nearby lot on the corner of Saratoga Street and Liberty Street or in the garage on the 200 block of West Saratoga Street. At the reception venue, there is a large parking lot.

Question

I've never been to a Traditional Latin Mass. What should I expect?

Answer

While the Mass has been and continues to be celebrated in many forms, the Traditional Latin Mass has been celebrated by the Church since the 1500s. All of the music, prayers, and readings will be said in Latin. Booklets will be available for you to follow along and we encourage you to do so! Please only receive communion if you are a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Catholic Church.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony no later than 1:15pm, unless you want to walk down the aisle with the bride!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. On the RSVP section, you will choose your courses for the reception and note any allergies.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a date if it has been indicated on your invitation.

For all the days along the way
