Fenwick is a unique little part of Old Saybrook that is one of the smallest municipalities in the US. There is nice walking loop along the golf course, where you get great views of the Long Island sound and look at the historic homes in the area like Katharine Hepburns's estate.
Cute, historic downtown along the Connecticut River that is a great place to shop and hit up a couple of local favorite watering holes like The Black Seal and and The Griswold Inn.
A personal favorite of ours for breakfast and coffee. The chive biscuit with white cheddar and egg is incredible. Best coffee in town. Get there early beacause it is a local favorite and gets crowded on the weekends.
If you like a local brewery you will like this one on Main Street in Old Saybrook. Nothing to write home about, but solid beer and pub food.
