We’re getting married!

On our 2nd anniversary, we went on a road trip along the coast of Northern California. After eating toasted marshmallow ice cream in Santa Cruz and exploring Turkish rugs in Carmel-by-the Sea, Justin suggested that we go take a quick trip to Big Sur before dinner. Once we parked along the side of the road, we saw an incredible view of the ocean surrounded by sheer cliffs and red rocks. We walked along the short trail until Justin saw a scenic overlook behind the trail and said we should take some photos. While Ella was surprised he wanted to break the rules, she hopped over the short rope where Justin attempted to confess his love unsuccessfully. Despite the nerves, Justin got down on one knee and asked Ella to marry him. Ella happily said yes!
