We Cannot Wait to Celebrate with you!

During our relaxing vacation to Cancun, Mexico in February of 2018 Justin had a very big surprise up his sleeve. February 14th started just like all our other days on vacation, sleeping in, enjoying breakfast together, grabbing a frozen drink, then out to lay by the ocean all day. Justin & I had decided that we wanted to have a relaxing day and then we would do something special together that night to celebrate Valentine's Day. Before we left for vacation one of our friends recommended going to Harry's Restaurant while we were in Cancun so we quickly made reservations for Valentine's night. Throughout the day Justin mentioned going on a walk on the beach after dinner. I of course agreed because this was becoming our nightly tradition. After a long day in the sun we made it back to our room to get ready for our special Valentine's dinner...little did I know while I was doing my makeup Justin was franticly trying to figure out of to fit a large ring box in his slim fit pants. Long story short it didn't fit & he ended up leaving behind the box & just slipped the ring in his pants. All night, during our cab rides, drinks at the bar, & dinner Justin kept his one hand in his pocket holding onto THE ring. While we enjoyed our AMAZING dinner Justin starting acting a little strange, verifying/professing our love for one another, double checking that we were going on that walk on the beach, & kept discussing our future. Once we finished dinner & made it back to the resort we finally went on that walk he had been talking about all day. Justin ensured I was comfortable, shoes off, hair back (the wind was blowing my locks all over), & of course warm. We walked, & walked, & walked, & walked finally I said, "Man we should probably go back we have been walking FOREVER!". As I turned around to look at the lights & where we were, I turned back around he was on one knee!!!! I could not believe it, I was so excited & of course said YES! Our journey for a lifetime began on 2.14.18.
