Children and babies are welcome. Children under the age of 13 that will need a meal will receive a choice of chicken fingers and french fries or an entree. Sitter service will not be provided so parents will be responsible for child care. Children under the age of 13 will show up under your name when you RSVP online. You will have to RSVP for children over the age of 13 by searching their name separately from yours.
Welcome drinks will be at cocktail hour and the reception has an open bar. Unfortunately, no shots can be ordered, and no outside alcohol is permitted at the venue. However, alcohol is permitted on the shuttle bus. The bar was handcrafted in Donegal Ireland and shipped to the U.S. and is adjacent to the horse stalls which they have transformed into bar seating. We think it's pretty cool!
All smoking must be done outside of the premises. Marijuana is legal in the State of Connecticut but we urge you to be responsible and respectful with your smoking at the wedding!
The ceremony and reception will be semi-formal which typically means you can dress as casually as khakis, dress shoes, a button-down shirt and tie or sundress. No jeans! No bare feet are allowed inside the venue and the ceremony is in grass show bring appropriate shoes. The brunch will be super casual since it's early so feel free to show up in your pajamas!
Yes! Shuttle transportation to the venue will be provided from both the Inn at Middletown and the Courtyard by Marriott Hartford Cromwell. Shuttle transportation will not be available to the morning after brunch. See the Travel tab for more details. Overnight parking at the venue is allowed but you will not be able to pick your vehicle up until 8AM the following morning.
