One of our favorite places in the city. It's a classic Chicago restaurant with delicious food and great cocktails. It's walking distance from the hotel, too.
Great neighborhood bar in the South Loop. Awesome beer list.
Walking distance to the hotel, this park is just beautiful. Check it out and get your picture by The Bean!
If you are coming in early or staying an extra day, be sure to go here. The permanent exhibits are amazing and they have a Van Gogh exhibition going on right now too!
This is just a jumping off point to the riverwalk. Head over and walk the whole river walk, but first maybe grab a glass of wine.
Its a classic. Get a hot dog or the beef. The sausage is great too. You can't go wrong.
Built in 1872, immediately after the Great Chicago Fire as a full wooden structure. This building is leaning and buckling all over. Stop in for some history and a shot of Malort.
A Henricks family favorite. It needs no introduction. Great beer and great oysters. It is one block from the CTA Green Line Harlem Station.
A favorite spot for Elizabeth and Russell when she lived in Oak Park. Great to grab a drink and a snack.
If you are in town for an extra day, come back to Oak Park and take this tour. It is a beautiful home and you learn so much architectural history. You can take the CTA Green Line to Harlem and walk about half a mile to get there.
Oak Park brag here, but it's super cool that Elizabeth and Ernest grew up on the same street.
The BEST beef in the Chicago area. No question. Go here. Cash only.
