We’re getting married!

In March of 2017, Lizzy and Mike were out celebrating a mutual friend’s birthday in New York City. Mike approached Lizzy on the dance floor and asked to buy her a drink. As it was March Madness, they of course stood there for a little longer getting to know each other while watching the games. Mike bet Lizzy that if Villanova lost, he would take her on a date. Since Villanova had won the championship the year prior, he was sure that the date would not happen since the last thing he wanted was a girlfriend. Obviously, Villanova lost that game, and on May 6, 2017, Lizzy and Mike went on their first date, which lasted 12 hours, stopping at a few favorite bars along the way. The rest is history.
