We met at Elinore in Downtown Long Beach. It was a networking happy hour hosted by my team at the time. I was working with a creative agency and Kyle was just going independent as a financial advisor. He was looking for clients, and I was working the room. I first noticed him when he was chatting with my coworker, I thought who is that?! We met, spoke for a few minutes, discovered we lived a few blocks from each other and that was about it. 24 HOURS later, May 9th, 2019 I'm working another event, a real estate wine mixer, my team had a booth and I was pouring wine while promoting Long Beach Architecture Week. While checking out the other booths, I locked eyes with a man across the room, he looked very familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it, he walked straight up to me and said "You again, from last night at Elinore!" It clicked. Kyle spent the rest of the evening chatting it up with me. As the end came near he asked me to take pictures with him at the photobooth, a few glasses of wine in, I thought sure, wine not! haha Kyle asked if I wanted to meet up with him and some friends after the event. We spent the rest of the night dancing, once I saw his dance moves, it was pretty much over for me. I was hooked! 6 weeks later, I asked him to be my boyfriend. 3 years later, he asked me to be his wife.
