We met like every other couple nowadays, online! We met on Bumble (sponsor our wedding please) right before the infamous COVID lockdown around March of 2020. We had our first date at Lucky's Last Chance in Manayunk (we also got some engagement pictures there). We remember talking about how COVID wasn't a huge deal... until it was. I mean what better way to get to know someone then spending time with them in a nation wide lockdown, a modern love story thanks to COVID-19.

Who gets engaged after attending a buck N' shuck? We were on an extended family vacation in Nantucket September of 2022. Kevin had already spoken to my family (even called my dad and asked permission, such a gentleman) and a handful of my family members knew it was going to happen we just did not know when. Props to Kevin, for trying to go on a nice bike ride to the beach close to the rental so that he could propose earlier in the week, but he forgets how lazy I am 90% of the time, especially when I am on vacation. Also props to my sister in law who also tried to encourage me to go on this ride because she knew what he was planning. However, things always workout how they should. We ended up getting engaged in front of a beautiful lighthouse on the beach around sunset after we stuffed our faces with oysters, and I couldn't have imagined it any other way.
