We had met at a party earlier in the year in 2016, it was not until a few months later at Germanfest in West Bend, WI that our love story started. He saw me from across the crowd, and decided to walk by just to say hi. This is where it all started. We spent the next few weeks together, going on dates, motorcycle rides, and meeting each other's friends, until we decided to make it facebook official. ;) We are so lucky to have met, and we cannot wait to spend every moment with each other for years to come.

As a couple, we have always said that taking date nights once every week is super important. So on a random Tuesday night in July, Jake asked me if I wanted to go out to eat in Oshkosh, WI. I said yes, because we hadn't been on a date in a while. We spent the night shopping for decorations for our house, and then we went out to eat at Fox River Brewery. We had an amazing dinner and drinks, all while the sun was setting. There was a storm rolling in, so there was an eerie, dark orange sunset, and we decided to go for a walk along the boardwalk close to the restaurant to soak in the summer sunset. While sitting on a pier, it started sprinkling, and I tried running back to the car. That's when Jake stopped me, and got down on one knee, and pulled out this red box and asked me to marry him. I was so completely shocked, and of course I said yes immediately! Ever since, we have been working on planning our dream wedding, and I couldn't ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with.
