When Elizabeth was a senior in college, a bunch of friends went down to Fed Hill for a night out. Upstairs at Ropewalk Elizabeth saw Erik and thought he was super cute but was too scared to talk to him. Thank goodness her friend Kara took matters into her own hands and tapped Erik on the shoulder- when he turned around Kara was gone and Elizabeth was standing there. Erik bought her a whiskey coke and the rest is history!

Elizabeth and Erik bought their first home together in Fells Point, Baltimore at the end of May 2019. On June 2nd, both of their families came together to help them move in. After a long, hot day of moving furniture and unpacking (including Erik forcing Elizabeth to drive the U-Haul) the families were hanging out together in the dining room. Erik starting thanking the families for their help, then got down on one knee and proposed! It was the best surprise ever. Both families celebrated with champagne right away and could not have been happier!
