Playa Jobos
Picturesque beach popular with the locals. There are surf shops with board rentals/lessons and a handful of awesome bar/restaurants with great seafood and cervezas! Be aware of the strong current and don't miss Uma's, our favorite Jobos hangout. 10 minute drive from Villa Montana.
Golf at Royal Isabela
Beautiful Golf Course at Royal Isabela, where we will be having our Thursday evening welcome party. The Links at Royal Isabela extend dramatically along cliffs 200 feet above the ocean and is a must for an avid golfer.
Aquatica Dive & Surf
Aquatica Dive & Surf is the place to go for all your dive and water sports needs. See their website for a full list of activities they offer but expect exceptionally friendly service, great rates, and an excellent adventure!
Peanut Butter Burger at Ola Lolas
Just a 5 minute walk from Villa Montana, you will find a culinary treasure at the super casual roadside Tiki Bar 'Ola Lolas'. Get food to go for a beach picnic back at VM, or eat in, but do yourself a favor and order the Peanut Butter burger, their signature dish....you will not regret it
Tropical Trail Rides
Horse stables are walking distance from Villa Montana! Two hour group rides daily at 9 AM and 3:30 PM (can book online)
Drinks at Umas Beach Bar
Super casual beach bar overlooking the surf break at Jobos. Stop for lunch, pop up from the beach for a drink, just please pry yourself away to make it back to Villa Montana for the wedding!
Cascada Gozalandia (Waterfalls)
About an hour drive from Villa Montana are the Cascada Gozalandia waterfalls. While a bit out of the way and it can get crowded, we happened to find these magical falls all to ourselves and it was worth every minute of the windy journey through central PR. Bring some beverages and enjoy an authentic locals tourist attraction in the jungle.
Beach/Lawn Games at Villa Montana!
Not only will the hotel have tennis racquets, snorkle equipment, and games for our guests, Alex and Elizabeth will be providing Spikeball, croquet, bocce, and other games out on the lawn for our guest's ad hoc use
Rental Cars
If planning to adventure around Isabela, a rental car for your group is recommended as Ubers and Taxis can be hard to come by. San Juan (SJU) and Aguadilla (BQN) Airports both have rental car facilities but reservation in advance is strongly recommended through any travel/booking site (e.g. Expedia)
