We met through mutual friends at the University of Illinois in Champaign. After a few months, we started talking and discovered we lived in the same town of Morton and attended the same college (Illinois Central College). We started hanging out more and had our first date at CxT in Peoria. From then on, we spent much time together, learning about each other. This includes Jaden's love for disc golfing and spikeball and Elizabeth's love for animals and Wyoming. After a couple of weeks, we started dating on March 6th, 2020. From then on, we have made countless memories together. We are excited to spend the rest of our lives together and make even more memories.

On July 22, 2023, Jaden proposed to Elizabeth in Macomb Il on her family's land. This was very special because Macomb is where we first fell in love, and enjoy going there as much as possible. Everyone on both sides of the family knew the plan except for Elizabeth, who had no clue Jaden would propose. This made it even more exciting. Right before the proposal, we went hiking, an activity we both enjoy. While walking and talking, Jaden stops, gets down on one knee, and proposes. This was very romantic and unexpected. We are both so excited to get married and can't wait for June 8!
