Best Man
We met (funnily enough) at a priestly discernment retreat in 2015. We became roommates at Franciscan University, and the rest is history (and much Domino's). My best friend, he's been with me through it all for the last five years, and now at my wedding.
Maid of Honor
Who would've thought Gemma would ever join a household, much less become my little? Gym buds, nug runs, "5th Commitment" at Howl at the Moon & much more. She laughs at everything, so I talk to her if you want your humor validated.
Groomsman
I met Jeremiah as a freshman, through Student Government. We became friends, however, through journalism and our joint obsession with sports, journalism and liturgy. If you're lucky, you'll catch him trying to freestyle rap.
Bridesmaid
Became best friends our freshman year by surviving 3 weeks of Europe together, followed by 4 years of all-girl "Catholic" high school. Though I've been Ohio for five years now, we'll start back up right where we left off whenever I visit. Her drive and motivation, and her taste in music, inspires me to be the best I can be.
Groomsman
Stas and I met at Wente Scout Reservation in 2014, when I was a counselor-in-training, and quickly became fast friends. As full-time counselors the following year, we picked up right where we left off and spent the summer talking politics, sports, Scouting and pretty much everything else.
Bridesmaid
After our siblings reconnected in high school and an awkwardly social sleepover at my house began one of my most cherished friendships. Friends since 6th grade, Maria is one of the funniest and down-to-earth people I know. She loves Chipotle as much as I do, so that's a win-win.
Groomsman
When I first met Matt, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Why? Because he was wearing a Dodgers shirt in public...how embarrassing. We bonded over baseball and being Latinos with Irish heritage, and I was honored to be one of his groomsmen
Bridesmaid
After being associated in the same friend group for quite some time, we finally became friends our junior year after getting lost on the Seattle bus transit. She's my one-and-only Korean best friend currently in pharmacy school! She is generous with her time and friendship and has an infectious laugh.
Groomsman
Matthew was one of the first people I met upon moving to Oregon. Our visits over Christmas and summer breaks were always filled with great discussions on liturgy, theology and evangelizing, and the way he lives out his faith continues to be a great inspiration to me.
Bridesmaid
Though we were in the same household, we didn't really acknowledge each other's existence until finals week one semester. Since then, I've been to Niagara Falls with her more than one should ever do in a lifetime. One-of-a-kind friend, household sisters, and avid animal/cult documentary viewers.
Groomsman
David was my household "big" when I joined Knights of the Holy Queen. We initially connected over both being Eagle Scouts (three of my groomsmen are Eagle Scouts) and over time, our friendship has grown exponentially.
Bridesmaid
After attending the same school for years, we both left Seattle within the same week in August 2016: me to attend Franciscan University and she to start her Masters at the University of San Francisco. She's determined and passionate her work and approach to life. We both enjoy a good sense of witty humor and iconic early 2000s songs and movies.
