Forest House Lodge

Due to the lodge being completely and privately ours, the Bride will take care of booking all of the rooms for our guests. Given the late-night merry making, no children are allowed (not even teenagers locked in the room during the wedding). Enjoying your accommodations is done in three easy steps: • Confirm with the Bride and Groom that you will stay in the room chosen for you. • Arrive at the lodge any time after 1pm on wedding day and pay upon arrival at the front desk. Room rates are between $125-$175. • Party all night and drop your key off in the morning, after your farewell breakfast at the lodge. There are only 27 guest rooms at the lodge, all with various room layouts and bathroom arrangements. The historic hotel has a European layout where every room has a sink, but only some have private bathrooms. We will choose the room that suits your accommodation requirements and needs. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Auburn

This hotel of suites is located about 25 minutes from the venue and offers a more upscale lodging experience. ADA accommodations are available at this hotel ONLY as the Forest House Lodge and Miner's Camp cabins are historic buildings (however, the Forest House Lodge DOES meet ADA requirements on the main floor where the reception is held, just not on the 3rd floor where the hotel rooms are located). King suites are $209, Double Queens $219, and a corner King Suite (for you fancy folks) is $399. To secure these discounted rates, book by March 19, 2023. Miners Camp

These delightful cabins are a 6 minute walk from the wedding venue and perfect for families with children. Only five cabins are available and will book quickly so make haste if this is your preferred option. Please call directly to book! You must book by January 14, 2022. The cabins available as of this writing: Last Chance #6, Hazzard Mine #7, Jinny Lind #8, Bonkin Mine #11, Crescent Mine #12.

Travel Note

Car travel is necessary!

Foresthill is a small town nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Car travel is necessary to get to the venue! If you are flying in, you will need to rent a car.

Flight

Sacramento (SMF)

Sacramento (SMF) is the closest airport to the venue. It's about an hour drive from the airport to Foresthill. Avoid the Reno, Nevada airport because if it snows, you might not make it over Donner Pass.
