Things To Do

Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but there's a lot to do and so much to see! Below are a few of our favorites places to explore.

Cliff Walk

Cliff Walk, Newport, RI 02840

The Cliff Walk is a 7.0-mile out-and-back trail that takes you along the beautiful coast of Newport with incredible views of the Newport mansions. Check out the link for information on access points and more!

Bowen's Wharf Marina

1 Bowen's Landing, Newport, RI 02840

Bowen's Wharf is right in the heart of downtown Newport. This area has a ton of great dining options, shopping, boat tours, and more.

International Tennis Hall of Fame

194 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI 02840

For our tennis lovers, the International Tennis Hall of Fame is located right in downtown Newport. It's home to a phenomenal tennis museum and there are always plenty of matches to watch on the infamous grass courts!

Second Beach

315 Sachuest Point Road, Middletown, RI 02842

Second Beach is located in Middletown, RI, and is one of our favorite Rhode Island beaches. It's a bit of a walk from downtown, so we suggest trying to get there early and parking (a small fee may be required). First Beach is located closer to downtown Newport and can be walked to if driving becomes a bit of a hassle.

Newport Mansions Preservation Society

424 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI 02840

Newport is home to several historic mansions, and offers public tours throughout the mornings/afternoons. If you want to step back in time and history is your thing, we highly suggest The Breakers and The Marble House!

Newport Vineyards

909 East Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842

If wine is your thing, this is a lovely vineyard located in Middletown offering great wine, tastings, and views!

For all the days along the way
