We’re getting married!

We've known each other basically for most of our lives. Seeing each other around the neighborhood and by Astoria Park. We went to the same catholic school, but didn't associate as much. As we got older, we used to see each other by Astoria Park all the time and we would talk about cars because it was one of our shared interests. One day, everything changed. We found each other, and fell in love. We started talking and seeing each other. After that day, we became inseparable. We did everything together. We didn't want to spend one minute apart from each other. Here we are about to become one. Best friends, soul mates, and especially each others ride or die. Always and forever. 10.4.16

April 21st, 2018. The Best Day of My Life. Anthony had been a little secretive for the past month. He said all of his secret phone calls were because he was planning a surprise vacation for my birthday in June. I said okay, and left it alone. One day after dinner, he asked me if I wanted to take a romantic walk by LIC piers. Naturally, I said "Of course!" He ended up parking by the hydrant, which he never does. So, it seemed a little suspicious. We walked down to the piers and he started saying all of these beautiful and romantic things. He said he wanted to take a picture of us and so there were a group of kids by us which he asked them to take a picture of us. One kid was walking towards us with the flash on. So, I thought to myself, "does he know he has the flash on?" Anthony then grabbed my hand, got down on one knee and BROKE THE RING BOX. He said "Just my luck." But I was so happy and lost in this love bliss I didn't even realize. He said the words, "Will You Marry Me?" I instantly jumped on him and said, "YES!" I started crying like a maniac and hugging him before he could even put the ring on. I couldn't believe it. That was the day I realized I am going to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life, my best friend, and my everything. That was the best day of my life. Of course, until our wedding day.
