Andrew and Elena met through mutual friends while attending Appalachian State University. Elena made the first move by asking Andrew to a sorority date function. After that, it didn't take long for Andrew to ask Elena if he could introduce her to his friends as his girlfriend. After Elena graduated from App State, she got a job that required her to move around. At each new stop she could always count on a visit or two from Andrew (and sometimes Nola). Andrew graduated a year later, right in the middle of COVID. He received an opportunity to work in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, so the pair packed up and hit the road! They lived in Arkansas for two years before moving back to the East Coast for a brief stay in South Carolina. All the while taking lots of trips and adventures in between! Ultimately, in December of 2022, North Carolina called them back home. Two weeks before they were set to move to NC, Andrew took Elena out in Downtown Greenville. It was there that Andrew asked Elena if he could introduce her to his friends as his wife (!!!!).
