We recommend connecting from the following cities: Los Angeles (LAX): Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and other airlines offer direct flights. San Francisco (SFO): Alaska Airlines and other airlines fly directly to Ixtapa. Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW): American Airlines and other airlines offer direct flights. Houston (IAH): United Airlines and other airlines fly to Ixtapa. Google Flights lists one from Phoenix, stopping in Dallas, with a short layover. That is a good option, but if you fly direct to LA from Phoenix there are additional nonstop flights from LA to Zihuatanejo. We recommend building your own flight itinerary and not using only what appears on Google Flights.
