Do I need a passport to travel to the DR?
Answer
Yes! Please make sure you have an active passport that does not expire within 6 months of the wedding (aka it does not expire before July 2024). All passengers entering / leaving Dominican Republic must complete the free electronic entry and exit form: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do All visitors to the Dominican Republic are charged a $10 tourist card fee that is incorporated into airline charges, however, some are not and must be paid at the airport.

Which hotels are inside the complex of Punta Cana Resort & Club?
Answer
The Westin and Tortuga Bay are the only hotels that are inside the complex. The Four Points, although owned by Grupo Punta Cana as well, is outside the complex but has a shuttle to bring you inside with access to the Cana Golf Club and pool, the Playa Blanca beach, and the restaurants inside. You will be limited to access the other hotels and use their facilities.

Arrival to Punta Cana

We recommend arriving to Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). This is the nearest airport about 5-10 minutes from Punta Cana Resort. Also, Las Americas Airport is another option that is 1 hour and 45 minutes away.

What's the difference between Punta Cana and Cap Cana?
Answer
Punta Cana, the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, boarders the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It's a region known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters. Punta Cana is the commercial name for the whole area. However, it's really just the area near the airport. Cap Cana is a city destination in the Punta Cana area. Known for private real estate, high-end boutiques and all inclusives hotels. Recognized among the best of the Caribbean. Outside Capcana and within the Punta Cana area you will also find the Punta Cana Resort, & Punta Cana Village. Punta Cana Resort is where the wedding and lodging will take place and it is within Punta Cana and next to Cap Cana Resort.

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding, however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families, and this will be noted on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Do I need an adaptor or converter for my electronics from the US?
Answer
No, the Westin and Four Points use outlet ports identical to those found in the US.
