From college best friends to someone who I honestly couldn’t live without Abby and I have made SO many memories over the last 13 years. We became quick friends in college while we both worked at the same retirement facility. I worked in the kitchen and Abby was a nurse aide. Many Sunday mornings at work were spent cooking us breakfast after nights of sneaking into bars (sorry Mom 🤣). Since then we’ve both grown up a little bit, Abby has been blessed with a wonderful husband and two absolutely amazing children! I’m honored to have one of my favorite pieces of Ohio stand next to me on our big day! ❤️

As part of the Brooker girl gang (aka cousins) Janna and I have a long history. Growing up with 20 other cousins give you a special bond and a childhood filled with some of the best memories. Even tho as a child my mom would often threaten Janna’s house as a punishment because they had to do chores! 🤣 (Love you Aunt Brenny!) As we grew older we bonded over our love of travel, music, picking on our mothers. 💁🏻♀️

I hope everyone gets to experience someone like Jackie in their life at one point. Through this last year Jack has helped me keep my sanity during our house reno, got me back into church, and has taken me under her wing when I started my life here in Rising Sun. She’s that always be there when you need her kind of girl and will be one of the main reasons I’m on time to walk down the isle come wedding day!🫶🏻 She’s also the BEST insurance agent so all my Maryland friends check her out! 💁🏻♀️

Mads is one of my OG Eastern Shore 🦀 friends and God must have known we would have needed each other over the last few years. We share a love of being Dog moms, C-street, and late night pizza. We’ve laugh, cried, and had plenty of adventures together during my first few years here in Maryland. One of those includes me saving us from not one but two snakes during a girls beach trip! 🐍 Our day wouldn’t be the same without this gorgeous girl by my side. 🤍

Very early in our relationship Eric started talk about his group of friends, friends that were more like family, and how I just had to meet them. Soooo needless to say when that day came I was a little nervous. Robin and her husband Matt were the first couple out of group I met ( a night at the firehouse I won’t ever forget 🤣). Robin and the rest of the girls quickly welcomed me into the group and the people Eric considered family became my family too. ❤️ Robin has the sweetest soul and I’m so glad she said “yes” to being a part of our big day!

Krok ( aka Eric’s work wife) and Eric’s friendship started at Fort Meade fire department but they bonded over their love for the outdoors. These two can often be found at the Knight Island preserve hunting or preparing for hunting season.

Long time friends, Don and Eric have served together on the Rising Sun volunteer Fire Department together for many years and have so many stories to tell. The night of our wedding you can be sure to find Don on the dance floor being the life of the party! Just like his beautiful wife Jackie, he is one of our closest friends and we're so glad he'll be there to party all night with us!

Fun fact I (Karlee) actually knew Billy from social media before I met Eric! We all share a love for the outdoors and Billy and Eric hunt together often. One of their more memorable hunts is when they went to the Eastern Shore to hunt Sika deer. While trekking out to their stands Eric found himself knee deep in the marsh mud leading him to hunting without socks for the rest of the day! If there's any pranks come wedding day Billy is sure to be behind it!

Another member of our local Fire Dept Chris and Eric have spent many years fighting fires together! In the Spring Chris and his girls can be found out with us fishing for Rock Fish on the flats. We've lost a lot of sleep over fish (3am wakeups are no joke) but the memories we've made together are priceless!

Growing up together Shawn and Eric have a tight bond! I thought Eric kept me on my toes but you put him and Shawn together and they'll have you laughing all day. We love spending time with him, his two girls, and his beautiful wife outdoors! If we're not hunting you can find us out on Sand Island enjoying some sun!
