Julia had just started her first semester at Framingham State and had applied to the Target near campus. As fate would allow, Iam had applied to the same Target. Though Julia was shy at first, they eventually started talking. Before they knew it, Julia and Iam began looking forward to their shifts together – especially since Julia now had a go-to coworker to get things off the high shelves for her. During their last shift together, Iam mustered up the courage to finally ask Julia for her Snapchat. And the rest is history. After getting blessings from Julia's mother and grandparents, Iam took Julia on a hike through the Lily Guest Trail in Islesboro, ME. When they stopped to admire the view, Iam took inspiration from Julia's grandfather and asked her "do you love me?". Of course, she said yes. So he said, "then marry me!" and got down on one knee.
