We're Getting Married

In light of recent events we are postponing our marriage ceremony and reception to a later date. It was a very difficult decision for us to make, but given the current situation, we think it is the best way forward. In the meantime, we will still be registering our marriage on 02/05/2020 following the current government restrictions, and will be live streaming this event at 11:30am. Tune in to join us if you'd like to see us get married! We have planned for the new date of our marriage ceremony and reception to be on 23/01/2021. We hope all of you will still be available, and be able to join us in celebration and joy! Can't wait to see all of you.

We first met in church, where we were introduced to each other. We didn't think much of it, until one day we went to Hahndorf with a group of friends and we sat opposite each other. Sharing that meal and conversation made us wonder if there may be something there that wasn't there before.

We went for brunch at Froth and Frodder, a walk after, and then watched the sunset at Brighton Beach. We knew on that day that even though it may seem crazy, we had something too special to not give it a go.

It was a beautiful Saturday and we were taking a stroll on the beach, when he got down on on knee and officially proposed! Of course she said yes! And now we can't wait to begin the next chapter of our lives together!
