Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! This is a formal black-tie event. Gentlemen are invited to wear tuxedos or dark suits with ties. If you are in need of a tuxedo considering renting or buying from The Black Tux an online rental website for men's tuxedos, suits, and accessories. Women are invited to wear formal floor-length gowns. Consider renting from Rent the Runway, an online designer rental destination with a large selection of formal attire and accessories. There will be security at both the ceremony and reception entrance to ensure proper attire. This is a strict dress code.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm. Guest arrival begins at 2:00pm and we ask that you are seated by 2:30pm. No guests will be allowed entry after the ceremony starts.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Although we'd love to celebrate with everyone, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and RSVP section under your name. Please, do not bring any additional guests with you if it has not been cleared with the bride or groom.

Please RSVP on the website as soon as you are able but no later than January 31, 2022.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be an adult-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate the night away with us!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We want you to be able to really enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer and videographer to capture it all, so we are respectfully asking that everyone consider leaving all cameras and cell phones off. Once we get to the cocktail hour, we encourage you to take as many photos as you'd like and if you post on social media please use our wedding hashtag- #Road2Robinson

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

Please be assured that your health and safety is our top priority. We are currently adhering to the current D.C. restrictions and guidelines stating that all attendees should have proof of vaccination or wear a mask while indoors. As more details become available, we will make sure to provide the necessary updates to all guests.
