What is the format of the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be a 1-hour welcome reception followed by a ceremony and banquet. There is an after party for those that would like to dance and chill.

Are there any local wedding customs that I should be aware of?

Answer

Not really. Other than the order of events and the family style banquet, the wedding is no different from a regular wedding. The banquet dinner is a 10-course family-style dinner with Chinese and western dishes, so leave some room for the food.

Is there a dress code?

We suggest Cocktail Attire (suits, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks).

Please RSVP by June 21, 2024.

Please arrive around 6:00 PM for the Welcome Reception.

Is there a hotel discount? Do you have other hotel recommendations?

Answer

Guests can book rooms at W Taipei, where the wedding takes place, for 20% off the current rate. Please contact Eva Chen, Director of Events to book with discount: Eva.Chen@whotels.com. Getting to the wedding venue is pretty easy from most hotels in Taipei, especially in the Xinyi and Da'an Districts. We added a few personal hotel recommendations for your reference. See the "Travel Tips and Hotel Information" section.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note your dietary restrictions in your RSVP or select the vegan option. We will make adjustments to your table's dishes according to your restrictions or serve you a vegan meal.
