Things To Do
Many of the friends and family of the bride have never been to the beautiful Black Hills in Rapid City, SD. That being said, we would like to recommend some site seeing that is well worth the trip. The Badlands are absolutely breath taking! You will need a vehicle you can enter the park with, and there is a small vehicle fee. Same goes for Mount Rushmore! Small fee for two beautiful views! Both of these are very close to Rapid City. Mount Rushmore is approximately 30 minutes away and The Badlands are approximately 45 minutes away. Spearfish Canyon is also an amazing site to see that doesn't cost you a dime, just gas to drive through the canyon. You will see multiple waterfalls and trails. Spearfish canyon is approximately 30-40 minutes from Rapid City.
