Question

When should I RSVP and book the hotel by?

Answer

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! A final headcount will be submitted to the venue the week of December 13th so please, PLEASE let us know if you are able to join us for the big day! The hotel is happy to add you to the Chase/Hoffman block until January 4th, but booking sooner rather than later is always a good idea. The rooms in the block will be released back to the public the week of December 13th and we want to make sure you have a place to stay for our celebration! The later you book, the lower the chance a room will be available.

Question

Why is this event on a Thursday?!?!

Answer

Unfortunately, we were forced to reschedule our original wedding date because of the pandemic last year. This was the only day we could book with our venue without losing all of our money. We apologize for the inconvenience and we so appreciate anyone who is taking the time out of their work schedule and busy lives to come celebrate with us this year!

Question

How do I RSVP if I can't figure out how to do so on the website?

Answer

Please contact Eddie or Tasha directly.

Question

What COVID precautions will be taken on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Masks and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. The state of New Jersey and the venue are not requiring proof of vaccination at this time so we will not be enforcing this. In light of the evolving variant situation, we STRONGLY advise that our guests consider COVID-19 vaccination and/or boosters to protect not only themselves, but also our guests who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical conditions. Also, the bride is a physician so you KNEW this comment was coming...

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm so we request that you arrive between 4 - 4:30 pm.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be available at the Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn for anyone who has a room booked in the Chase/Hoffman hotel block. It will leave promptly at 3:45 pm to bring guests to the ceremony. The shuttle will pick guests up after the reception at 10:20 pm to bring them back to the hotel.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at Nanina's in the Park.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional, meaning tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, we would like to keep our event adult-only! Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those who are granted a "plus one" on their invitation bring a date. While we would love for everyone to be able to bring a date, unfortunately, we have a guest limit from the venue.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Check out our registry on our website! We are registered at Zola and Amazon. We also have the option for you to donate to our New House fund if no gifts are available (the link is listed on the Zola registry). We recently moved to our new home in November 2021 and can use all the help we can get for the many expenses of homeownership!

Question

Who can I contact with additional questions?

Answer

Please feel free to contact Eddie or Tasha directly with any additional questions or concerns.
