What is the dress code? What should I wear?
Answer
Garden Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses or sundress, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks are all appropriate.

What weather should I expect?
Answer
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we should be expecting a beautiful summer afternoon in the low to mid 70s.

What COVID health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?
Answer
Getting married in the midst of a global pandemic means that everyone’s health and safety is a top priority for us. Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
The wedding and reception will take place at Piedmont Community Hall, 711 Highland Ave, Piedmont, CA 94611.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Answer
The ceremony is at a quarter to four in the afternoon. Following the ceremony, we will transition to cocktail hour, then dinner.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, followed by dancing inside the hall.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Answer
Yes! We are so incredibly grateful for all our friends and family traveling to come see us. In addition to the wedding, we will be hosting a pre-wedding mixer for those who are in-town Saturday night at our favorite local brewery at 6:30pm on Saturday, August 6. Please RSVP via the website for additional information.

What should I expect after the ceremony?
Answer
Following the ceremony, immediate family will be taking pictures with the bride and groom. During this time we will be hosting a cocktail hour with appetizers for the rest of our guests.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?
Answer
We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in the sam location. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Lyft or Uber are great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink. If you are using a ride service, we recommend reserving your pickup ahead of time for 10:00 pm from 711 Highland Ave, Piedmont, CA 94611.

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to RSVP and let us know your plans right here on our website.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
Yes, we have pre-negotiated a room rate of $162 per night at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Walnut Creek- 1345 Treat Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA 94597. Please see the "Travel" page of our website to book online for Saturday and/or Sunday night, or you can call 800-498-7397 and request to book under the "Margeson and Bouslog" (must request by exact name) room block. All reservations must be made by June 30, 2022 for the room rate to be guaranteed.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?
Answer
Since we have huge extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our under 21 guest list to immediate family and the bridal party, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Can I bring my partner?
Answer
We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Absolutely, our venue is ADA accessible. Please reach out to us at meanttobebouslog@gmail.com for help with arranging the best drop-off and pick-up location.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
Answer
We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert.

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #ForeverWEdo so we can see them, too!
