We are getting married!

The night before Grant proposed, Emily‘s dad told everybody at the Thanksgiving table that they would be going to a restaurant to celebrate Emily‘s mom‘s birthday the next afternoon. Emily asked Grant if they could walk out to the end of the pier near the restaurant before they went for dinner. Out at the end of the pier, Emily and Grant were looking at the water ahead of them and seconds later Emily turned to find Grant down on one knee. Just like that Grant asked Emily to spend the rest of her life with him and of course she said YES!
