WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

We met at work! I was working at Alonzo's job on a Special event assignment. Once I arrived I began my assignment given from my supervisor. I had to cross over to another side of the building. While walking outside, Alonzo and his co-workers were directing traffic and as he says "he looked at me as if I was heaven sent with angel wings on my back" and that God whispered to him that I was his wife!" I never knew he was looking at me in that way because my attention was walking with a coworker to my assignment and didn't look his way. I began to see Alonzo often; walking through the building around the areas I went to work. He would say little things to me to make conversation and I still didn't have in my mind that he was attracted to me and was trying to get my attention lol. The next day I didn't see him, but the following day we both had the same assignment and had to work together. Long story short I seen how persistent Alonzo was every time he saw me. Alonzo then asked me if he could have my number I told him I would think about it lol. My co worker said "girl just give the man your number, he seems like a nice guy" I actually, already felt that he was a great Guy I was just playing hard to get lol! So we exchanged numbers, started having longer conversations for hours and hours, falling in love and now here we are getting married. Alonzo became my soul mate and I'll be his wife on 08.28.22.

It was a normal Tuesday, we had just began a global atrocious pandemic. Alonzo and I were both home doing what most people do in the house, relax and binge watching tv. I started to take my braids out of my hair. At this time Alonzo and I were in separate areas of the house. The engagement ring was delivered and Alonzo looked so happy suddenly. I was not aware that he had just received a package delivery. I noticed how he would come in the room frequently where I was and smiled radiantly with a charming stare. I started to believe he was up to something but a proposal was not in mind because I was taking my hair out and did not look up to par for a proposal, lol. Alonzo started to facetime and call my mom, sister, bestfriend, and his family also in the other room to let the know what he was about to do. I was on group facetime with my mom and sister already so he brought his phone with his family in a group facetime call in the same room. I did not realize that anyone was on his phone. He kneeled down and smiled even more radiantly. I asked him was he alright, he said "yes I'm alright" with a glowing excitement in his voice. He told me that he have something to tell me in front of his family and mines, lol. He began to say "well, you know I want to be with you for the rest of my life, You know I call you my "MSFOREVER" and I just wanted to tell everybody that and let them all know that I want you in my life forever, and even though we have our ups and downs at the end of the day I want to be with you." He than, showed me the engagement ring and asked "Will you marry me." My face lit up radiantly with a energetic smile that's out of this world. I was in shock and ecstatic could not believe what he was doing. Everyone began to cheer and asked what did she say, I said "I DO" they continued to clap and cheer delightfully, and said congratulations. It was a very sentimental, momentous and enduring moment for us both, We were the happiest couple ever.
