What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive and find a seat by 3:20pm. The processional will begin at 3:30pm. Venue staff will greet you in the McKay Tower lobby and escort you up to the second floor Ballroom. For parking recommendations, view the "Parking & Hotel" tab.

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire with dancing shoes! Join the bridal crew in shades of pinks, purples and reds, or rep your favorite summer colors. Jackets and gowns are recommended.

What should I do with my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep it in your purse or pocket :) We kindly ask for cell phones to be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have talented photographers and videographers capturing this moment for us.

What should I do during the intermission?

Answer

There will be an approximately 60 minute intermission after the ceremony while the venue space is setup for the reception. During this time, we kindly ask that guests enjoy downtown Grand Rapids. There will be time for you to grab a drink or an appetizer somewhere, or enjoy the numerous outdoor spaces nearby. For recommendations on our favorite downtown activities, view the "Intermission" tab. Please plan to be back in the Ballroom at 5:30pm for happy hour.

Where should I submit my wedding photo?

Answer

To celebrate the love all around us, we will have a slideshow behind the bar with wedding photos submitted by our guests. Please share one of your wedding photos with us by emailing it to e2.boelkins@gmail.com.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola, Amazon and Target. The entire registry can be viewed via the "Registry" tab.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please include this information within your RSVP or email us directly at e2.boelkins@gmail.com. Our vendors are happy to accommodate.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There may be events taking place downtown, so please keep this in mind when making your travel plans.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Amway Grand Plaza which is across the street from the venue. If you are interested in staying at the Amway, please view the "Hotel" tab for more information. If you would like to stay elsewhere, there are numerous hotels within a short walk of the venue.

Can I edit my RSVP?

Answer

Yes, you may edit your RSVP through August 8th, 2024.

Will the photobooth photos be shared publicly?

Answer

No. You will be able to put in your phone number or email to have your photobooth photos sent to you but they will not be available to everyone... except the bride and groom :)
