Things To Do

We'd recommend two main areas to checkout (besides checking out the City of Boston): -- Salem is a unique historical town that leans into their harrowed history of Witches and Halloween! Lots of cool shops and great restaurants. -- Marblehead is the birthplace of the American Navy and boasts a few local dive bars that serve fresh seafood off their own boats and pour heavy! Beautiful views and less populated than Salem.

Saltwater Bookstore

134 Washington Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

Java Sun

35 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead, MA 01945

Best place in town for coffee and muffins and a breakfast sandwich!

Maddie's Sail Loft

15 State Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

Probably our favorite place in Marblehead. The OG Fishing Bar. It boasts it's own fishing club, and is world-renowned for it's 'Maddies Pour' and reasonably priced seafood dinners! The most popular place in town!

Marblehead Lighthouse / Chandler Hovey State Park

Lighthouse Lane, Marblehead, MA 01945

A breathtaking view overlooking the harbor with some benches and a lighthouse. One of our favorite places to watch the sunset.

Little Harbor Lobster Company

3 Beacon Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

The best lobster rolls in town!! Grab and Go food and alcohol with picnic tables by the boat launch/harbor.

Barnacle Restaurant Inc

141 Front Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

The location and ambiance can't be beat! Mostly fried seafood (fantastic fish sandwich), but the view and ocean spray you can get sitting outside is our favorite!

Shubie's Marketplace

16 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead, MA 01945

Gourmet market with nice wine selection, snacks, premade sandwiches and other foods. “Overpriced boutique food shop” -Rob D’s favorite place.

The Muffin Shop

126 Washington Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

Driftwood Restaurant

63 Front Street, Marblehead, MA 01945

A cash-only GEM. Our favorite breakfast place! Food comes out quick, reasonably priced, and an ambience that makes you feel like you never left the 80's!

Devereux Beach

Marblehead, MA 01945

Our Favorite Beach :)

Fort Sewall

8 Fort Sewall Lane, Marblehead, MA 01945

At the very tip of Marblehead. It's a great lookout point to see the scale/beauty of the ocean and see some boats cruise in and out of the harbor. There are free mounted-binoculars to use at the park as well!

Salem Witch Museum

19 1/2 North Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970

A corny reenactment, but harrowing tale of the Witch Trials!

Ugly Mug Diner

122 Washington Street, Salem, MA 01970

Killer Breakfast right around the downtown Salem Area

A & J King Artisan Bakers

48 Central Street, Salem, MA 01970

D’s favorite bakery.
