It's the first day of Sophomore year at Penn. Aly and Dylan are walking toward each other on Spruce Street, Dylan with an unwieldy amount of groceries in his hands. Aly introduces herself and offers to help him carry his groceries. When they get to his frat house, she asks him, "Why do you have so many groceries? Did you go shopping for the whole frat?" Dylan replies, "No, I just really like to cook." Aly goes, "Whoa, will you marry me?" Without skipping a beat, Dylan retorts, "Not until I see a ring." 10 years go by, and there's no sign of a ring for Dylan. One day, in the midst of a plant medicine ceremony, it dawns on him that if he wants a ring, he's going to have to take matters into his own hands... In January 2018 on the first night of Aly & Dylan's fourth year on Holy Ship, Dylan dons his favorite psychedelic leggings, and Aly opts for her favorite leopard catsuit. After much stubbornness and carrying on, Aly finally agrees to stop eating pizza and go back out to where the music is. There, Dylan surprises Aly with his grandmother's ring and asks her to marry him, to the tune of the song "Stop It" by Fisher. She says yes. On May 26th, 2019, Dylan will finally get that ring he asked for almost 12 years ago! - an Aly Tobiasz story
