Dylan and Faye met after Dylan's buddy, Johnny, noticed Faye had a flat tire leaving our college business class. He had asked Dylan to come help, which Faye will say Dylan didn't do much. Dylan would say he was busy trying to keep his eyes off Faye. Even then, it took Dylan 3 months to finally make his move.

Dylan spent months trying to figure out what he could do to keep it a secret. Finally, he decided on a lookout spot that overlooked both Minden and Carson City. He wanted it to be somewhere where you could overlook both of the towns we grew up in. When the time came to pop the question, he kept it sweet and simple with a "will you marry me?".
