Save our new date! April 24, 2021

We met at a Cowboys vs. Texans watch party at my apartment in San Marcos and after finding out we were both Cowboys fans, we clicked right away! From there, we hung out many times before he asked me to be his girlfriend in the bed of his pick-up truck at a Halloween party (which is now our favorite holiday). We shared great memories together at Texas State including many game nights, movie nights at the drive in (our favorite date spot) and attending Bobcat sporting events as a Strutter and Strutter Manager. After college we began our long distance journey living on opposite sides of the state with Kyle in Dallas and myself in Edinburg. We survived distance by having many FaceTime dates, driving countless miles, and taking fun trips when we can! And then came a proposal...

On Halloween, we went to San Marcos for our 5-year anniversary, so of course we had to go to the drive in. Right before the movie started, Kyle proposed in the same truck he asked me to be his girlfriend, and it was the easiest yes ever! We are excited for this next chapter in our lives and we are looking forward to having fun at our wedding with all our friends and family on January 16, 2021!
