Meet the Couple

The Wedding Website of Alison Leary and Dustin Conway

Allie & Dustin

Get to know us!

We met the old-fashioned way—at a house party, of course. Dustin was mingling and Allie was on the ground with the host’s dog. Luck was on both our sides that night; Allie left the dog momentarily and Dustin managed to talk to her without losing an eye or limb. Surprising to no one, the U-Haul was packed six months later. We moved into our first apartment together in Eugene, while Allie was finishing up her degree. During our three years living in Eugene, we spent every weekend we could hiking, floating the river, and searching for the world’s worst dive bar. In the last bits of the summer after graduation, we moved to the suburbs of Portland. This was a big jump for us and occasionally we stare at each other in awe of how far we have come, which does get us pretty weird looks when we’re out in public. Since moving here in 2019, we adopted our two biggest joys in life. You can “meet” them too, below! Marriage was always on the table for us. We knew immediately that this relationship was the big one. One night, after six years together, under a huge moon Dustin slyly slipped the ring on Allie’s finger. We are so excited to take this next step in our journey and cannot to celebrate our love with you.

Finnegan

Our First Puppy

We adopted Finny from a rescue in Eugene, just after we had moved to Portland in 2019. The rescue told us they found him just about a mile from our old apartment—funny how that works! Finn loves chasing squirrels, long walks on the beach, yodeling, and sweet potato. He dislikes baths, walking on hardwood floors, and occasionally his brother.

Otto

Our Monster Doggy

Otto is our second rescue, from a foster family in Kalama, WA. Otto is half Labrador retriever, half Shih-Tzu. Yes, really. We had him tested. Otto loves eating Doc Martens, belly scratches, playing with his brother, and doing tricks. He dislikes being ignored, the baby gate that keeps him downstairs, and cats.
