Leah and Emily began their friendship in the 5th grade. Some contend that they could've been friends sooner, as Emily invited their whole 3rd grade class to her birthday party except for Leah. Fortunately she saw the error in her ways, and their nearly identical taste in music and humor has been the foundation of a friendship that turned into family many years ago. Leah never laughs harder than when Emily is around, even during the difficult times they've been through together.

Sydney and Leah became friends during Jr High, brought together in classes as high-achievers with opposite strengths academically. They realized quickly with a few glances and giggles that they "got" each other. Her quick wit and appreciation for snacks, drinks, laughs, and spookies have bonded them like sisters. Sydney's move to Atlanta after college hasn't prevented her being the first to know about everything from Ryan's proposal to what Leah ate today, nor has it stopped them from spending all of life's big moments together.

Perhaps the first and oldest bestfriend I have is Johnny Godley. What temerity! The Friendship is as old as time, filled with precious cornucopia of creative energy, laughter, and adventure. We were always up to something. When trying to hide from dance practice there was always our teachers Mary-Alice and Peggy yelling "Where's my team BOYS!?... And what the heck are you two doing in a tree"? It's called Partners in Crime people. Besides debauchery is cleansing for the soul. And now, us two, have both stood by and stood up at each others weddings and in life. He is not only a World Champion in Irish Dance but also as a Best Friend. -High School Musical

Sarah was Leah's first new real friend at the University of Illinois! She's the organized, prepared, and punctual friend that everyone needs. But make no mistake, she parties as hard as she plans. From romping around campus, staking claim on barstools, and watching music videos until dawn to moving to Chicago and dominating the volleyball circuit at North Ave Beach, their bond has remained strong.

Making your way in the World today takes everything you've got. Taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name. And for a fact, everybody knows Andrew's name. Andrew is a stranger to no one. He is always glad you can come out to hang, whether for a drink, golf, games, a session or show; there is no place he'd rather be if there are friends around. Another University of Illinois Alum, Leah couldn't believe her luck when she and Keely agreed to become roommates Leah's sophomore year. Keely is the kindest person you'll ever meet and spends her days making a difference in kids' lives. Keely is the glue that holds their college friends together and is always down to clown, especially with trips to the Patt Shack for the past 10 years.

Ah the Nick-mobile. This is another Friend and Roommate Nick Sakinsky! I think we will go with a little background information ladies & gentlemen. Nick is a regular friend here, but Chicago has certainly had its share of friends. We have been friends as early as the late 1990's in grade school at Riverwood Elementary. And yes, Nick's last name is pronounced "Sak-in-ski" which is Chicagoan for "the good friend." It's turtle time! Katrina and Leah met during Leah's freshman year at the University of Illinois. Their friendship was strengthened as roommates the following year, spending many nights intending to go out but losing track of time laughing together in their robes (Sarah was studying abroad that semester and they gained a new appreciation for her leadership). They have been laughing together wherever life takes them since.

This name "Jeff" keeps coming up over and over again. Everyday, everyone's asking, what's Jeff up to, what music is Jeff recommending, what cool thing is Jeff doing next? So let's dig a little deeper, I have to talk to you about Jeff. Not only does Jeff exist, but he will be making a journey back from Poland with his wife Kasia! His favorite food is Taco Bell, favorite hobby is Music, he likes ghouls...little green ghouls. Jeff is the glue that keeps our group together through music, fantasy football & movies. Parks has been brought over here to implement his friend style. Friendship is friendship no matter where you find it. You got buds, suds, and helmets with masks on them. He is a premier Friend and brings a premier league level of standards. Things like, a kind heart, is someone that listens, someone that pushes you. His philosophy is "Keep Calm, And Get Fired Up!" Parks was the initial person to reintroduce me into the McHenry gang. And when I wrapped up dance, he encouraged me to try out and play for our high school soccer team. This our my Friend and Officiant, Patrick Mullane. Patrick will travel half our country to be here and see about this Wedding. Now I dare say some of you might have heard of the more extravagant rumors about what his plans are, so I thought you'd like to hear it from Leah and me. This is the face, no great mystery. Patrick is our Officiant, Ladies and Gentlemen. He likes to think of himself as an Officiant. He will work side-by-side with myself and my Wonderful Bride Leah. I think all of you have met her already. We will work together to prepare materials for the ceremony and perform the marriage on the day of. Now, Let's Talk about Patrick. Patrick is the 3rd youngest Mullane. He is from Chicago and now resides in D.C. Patrick and I have bonded over movies, music and momedies throughout our friendship that also grew with his wife, Bella. To describe Patrick, he is kind, caring, smart and thoughtful, these are a few of the things he can offer you. We are excited and honored to have Patrick as our Officiant.
