We're getting married ya'll!

The year was 2016. Our friends, Steph and Lucky had just started dating. I was one of Steph's best friends and he was one of Lucky's best friends. We met each other through several gatherings over time, but initially were not overly friendly with one another and mostly kept our distance. Around 2018 we finally started to come around to one another. We enjoyed spending more time together in group settings, but still denied any feelings we were starting to have, no matter how obvious they appeared to everyone around us. It turns out we weren't as smooth as we thought. Early in 2019 we finally had our first date. We went and had sushi at our favorite place followed by the pool hall where we ended up staying out way too late talking for hours and hours. That night was the beginning of something really special.
