James and Katelynn met in August 2022 through Hinge. For anyone who knows Katelynn, James's first chat with her immediately turned into an interview. James checked all the right boxes, and their first date was at Iron Hill Brewery. This first date turned into many, many more brewery dates and endless adventures together. In under 2 years, Katelynn and James have already traveled out of the country to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Berlin, Prague, and Munich. Cheers to a lifetime of love, partnership, adventure, and of course good beer!

James pulled off the biggest surprise ever by proposing on his birthday trip in March 2023. Katelynn had planned a getaway to Punta Cana to celebrate James's 29th birthday. She had a suspicion he planned to propose, but not until her 30th birthday in May. On the day before James's birthday, Katelynn and James went to walk the beach at sunset. There was not a single soul in sight. Right as the sun was setting, a couple appeared out of literally nowhere from the jungle. Of course, Katelynn asked the strangers to take a picture! As Katelynn was posing, James proceeded to pull the ring out of his pocket. These lovely strangers thought quickly enough to record the whole proposal, so be sure to check it out!
