Finally getting married!

By swiping right on a dating app! I know, I know. Everyone meets online these days. Call it cliché, but without it, our paths may have never crossed.

I already knew this date was going to be special when the first place Kyle suggested for dinner was JINYA. At the time, he had no idea JINYA was my favorite restaurant. There's no way I could turn that down! At the very least, I'd get to eat some delicious ramen, even if the date happened to turn into a total bust. SPOILER ALERT... it wasn't! The date went AMAZING, from start to finish! The food was great, our conversations were endless, and there was an obvious spark between the both of us. We stayed at Jinya until nearly closing, but we didn't want to end the night. We decided to head to a local bar since nothing else was open. After the bar closed, Kyle drove me home, but it didn't stop there. We sat in his tiny Honda Civic talking together until 5am, even though we both had work in the morning. We didn't care. To us, it was well worth the sleepless night! The next two weeks consisted of similar shenanigans, although we value our sleep much more now after parenthood.

We may have done a few things out of order, but I will say, we've managed to build a beautiful life in these last 5 years together. We have two amazing kiddos, Liam (4) and Lily (3), and our boxer Aero. Kyle is furthering his education and working toward becoming a Cardiac Sonographer. I am working as a chiropractor. Although our life may not be easy day to day, we could not imagine it any other way!
